It is the most conspicuous among the recent buildings in Graz, standing on a location that catches the eye. Thousands of people entering the town, many of them commuters, as well as many travellers leaving the town by the south-east motorway exit towards Vienna, Italy or Slovenia, drive past this building. It is most spectacular when approached from the periphery: a massive structure reaching the height of six metres, wrapped in a shiny, black, smooth shell. The window openings, incised into the façade plane, emphasize the monolithic character of the building.
